Data Center Colocation Pricing

Colocation is priced by power, not space. The key measures are how many kW you can use reliably each month and how much heat the facility can remove.

What determines the price

The monthly price for the same rack can vary by more than twofold between facilities. Three factors explain the difference.

Power capacity and density

Pricing is based on kW per month. High-density racks above 40kW require different power distribution and cooling designs, so their unit cost is higher than a standard 5kW rack.

Cooling method

Air cooling, direct-to-chip liquid cooling (DTC), immersion cooling, and hybrid systems have different construction costs and PUE performance. Those differences affect both monthly charges and long-term electricity costs.

What the monthly fee includes

FAQ

Why is pricing based on kW instead of the number of racks?
AI rack power varies widely. A 5kW rack of conventional equipment and a 40kW rack of GPU servers occupy about the same space, but the latter uses eight times as much power and cooling. Pricing by rack would not reflect the resources consumed.
Is there a minimum contracted capacity?
Yes, and it varies by facility. High-density zones usually start at a full rack, while lower-density zones may accept a half rack.
Can deployments span multiple countries?
Yes. Current operational and planned sites cover Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Texas in the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Who handles failures in client-owned hardware?
The equipment manufacturer handles the warranty and RMA. We diagnose issues on site, replace components, and coordinate repairs, with response times defined in the 24×7 operations contract.
